I added some Martha Stewart punched leaves within the flowers and also added 2 charms on faux pearl string, a starfish dangling from the paper flowers and a large shell one hanging from the ribbon under a chiffon and pearl flower I added. Also placed some pearlescent flat back star fish about the card.

Here is my DT card using Winnie - Santas official Light Tester!

I coloured Winnie with copics and added gemstones to her holly berries on her hat and used sakura gelly roll clear glitter pen on her fur to give it a bit of sparkle. I used traditional Christmas colours for the card and added a Christmas tree onto a ribbon bow, some buttons with thread through them, and some chiffon flowers with pearl centres. I stamped the sentiment and matted it using spellies lacy circles die, also used memory box corner die, savvy dies 'Happy Holidays' and a dovecraft holly punch, to which I added red gemstones as the berries.

Challenge #11 at Lacy Sunshine!

Time for another new challenge over at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog. Our theme is always Anything Goes from now on so its super easy to join in  and win some fan digi stamps from Heather's shop.

Here is my DT card for the challenge using Toffee Apple Sticky Wings, she's so sweet!

She was coloured with copics (didn't write them down *slaps hand!) The patterned papers are from my stash as are the paper blossoms I used. I added 2 sparkly rhinestone dazzlers to the flowers to add a bit of bling and have added gems in various places around the card. The sentiment was typed in word and printed off, thought it suited the image perfectly! I covered the toffee coating on the apple in Glossy Accents to make it stand out and look very sticky and gooey!! lol I also used the Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch and dotted them around the card to add extra embellishment and carry on the theme of the wings!

I struggled getting a good picture of the card for some reason with the flash, I kept getting glare on the piccy so below is another piccy without the flash, not sure which is best to be honest! lol

Hope you like her! Can't wait to see your entries into the challenge and don't forget as always there is a freebie up for grabs on the blog so that there is no excuse not to play along!

Happy Birthday Mum xxxx Miss You

Bit of a sombre post from me today. Today would be my mum's 67th birthday. I lost my mum 5 years ago on the 16th July coming. I miss her so much, more now than ever and a few weeks ago I was having a day where she was on  my mind all day so I decided to make her a birthday card in her memory.

I used her favourite colours pink and green and also added flowers and butterflies, she loved gardening and was always pottering around in her garden with our Westie Robbie always in her shadow!

She used to love the crafty things I made and always let me send for stuff and get it delivered to her house so hubby didnt know!! lol

Love you mum xxxxx

Also been looking through my old piccies and came across one of me and mum sun bathing by a caravan on holiday one year! Reminds me of me and my little girl now x x Heres my gorgeous mum and me aged about 7ish! Many moons ago!!

The digi is from the very talented Heather Valentin's Lacy Sunshine shop.

Time for another new challenge at Lacy Sunshine Challenge blog and the theme this time is 'Anything But A Square'.

There's lots of fab new digi's coming today in Heather's Lacy Sunshine shop, the only legal place to buy Heather's digi stamps.

My DT card this week features the ever lovable Pickles dressed in his graduation gown! Hope you like him.

I cut an 8x8 card diagonally to create the triangle, and used papers from my stash. Pickles was coloured with copics:- YG21, YG23, YG25, RV21, RV23, N9, N7, N5, N3, N1, Y35, Y38, R24, R27 and a little C1 on the scroll for shadowing. The fishtails were created by cutting 2 thin strips of paper and then using a square punch at the end, cutting on the diagonal. (really really want some fishtail dies but until I can get them, this method will have to do!) I also added some self adhesive gemstone stars and pearl stars and a silver metal 'Celebrate' sentiment. Pickles was cut out using spellies standard and scalloped circle dies.

My DT card is using another of Heather's fab Gnomes of Gnarly Wood digi's only available from The Lacy Sunshine Shop.

Meet Finkle Cycling!

Finkle was coloured with copics. I've used papers and card from my overflowing scraps box and a couple of buttons from my stash! I decided to keep this card quite simple. I used tumbled glass distress ink pad and smudged it around the edges of the top of the image to give a feeling of the sky in the background. Used my usual pearls on the corners.I used the cool greys in the colouring to keep in line with the blues.

Copics used:- E000, E00, E11, E23, E25, E27, B0000, B000, B01, B02, B04, B60, B63, B66, C1, C3, C5.

Sky Lynn

Here's a card using Sky Lynn, another of Heathers Valentin's digi's available in her Lacy Sunshine shop.

Its hard to have a favourite from all of Heather's digi's but Sky Lynn is definately one of them!

I used Distress Inks Festive Berries blended around the edges of the card. Red and black cards for the layering and a black and white patterned paper. The decorative corners are using my memory box corner die that I'm still obsessed with! The butterflies are made using the Martha Stewart 3in1 punch. I go the lacy rosettes from the same ebay seller as I get my rhinestones from, the small sparkly ones I like to use in the centre of my flowers! The large rhinestones used on the lace were from WOC. Sky Lynn was coloured with copcis, but yet again havn't written down the colours I used1 I know her hair was using  N1, N3, N5, N7, N9 and a touch of 100. I'm thinking the red was R59, R37, R35.

Thanks fior stopping by, hope you love Sky Lynn as much as I do!

Lovely Larry!

On a roll this week! Here's another of the new fabilicious gnomes from Heather Valentin over at Lacy Sunshine!

Meet Lovely Larry!

The 1st of my 2 Lovely Larry's is a general 'Just For You' card. Larry was coloured with copics and I fussy cut him out. Papers, card, ribbon and gems were all from my stash. The sunflowers were die cuts (I think they are Joy Crafts) and the leaves are spellies dies. I added orange gems to the centre of the sunflower and dazzling rhinestones to the centre of the die cut sunflowers. I added a charm under the sentiment which was cut using spellies lacy circles die.

Larry number 2!! A new home card.

I typed up the sentiment in Word 'No Place Like Gnome'. The papers and bazzill card are all from stash. I used bronze fine glitter for the centre of Larry's large sunflower, it doesn't show up very well on the piccy but looks fab IRL.

I used the die cut flowers again for the sunflowers and added the rhinestone flatbacks to the centre. I used a piece of ribbon out of my scraps box and added a flower linking charm (can't think if the proper name, has a loop at each end of the flower!) I used spellies standard circles to cut out the circle layer and the smallest of the xcut lareg oval scalloped dies to cut the sentiment out.     As usual I have put my list of copics used somewhere safe! As soon as I put my hands on them I will update the post!

There you go! Hope you like Larry as much as I do.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read my posts. I really do appreciate it xx
