Just Inspirational Challenges - Delicious Doodles - Kraft

Time for another challenge at Just Inspirational Challenges blog and our wonderful sponsor this time is Delicious Doodles who are offering the fab prize of 4 digi's!

Our theme for this challenge is to use Kraft card/paper somewhere on your project.

 

So now for my DT card. I used Delicious Doodles image Christmas Lantern 

I coloured the images using copics but didn't write them down, I do know I didn't use any out of the ordinary combos though lol. The patterned papers were from my Christmas stash, not sure of the make as they are all mixed up! The holly leaves around the edge are cut using an X cut punch and added red rhinestones to the centres for the berries. I have added a large mulberry paper Poinsettia with a yellow sprakling rhinestone in the centre. I have used Kraft in my project by using memory box merry and Christmas die words. They don't show up very well on the piccy but they do in real life!

Just Inspirational Challenges - Stitchy Bear - Brads

So now for my DT card.

I coloured Santa in using copics :- E000, E00, E11, R35, R37, R39, E23, E25, E27, N3, N5, N7, N9, C1.

The papers are from Hot Of The Press. I rooted out the giant creative cardmakers pad that I have had for about 5 years and never used!! The sentiment is also from the pad. I added some ribbon from my stash along the front. My brads I have used also came from the HOTP Creative Christmas pack that I had and it is a lrage xmas tree with holes in to place the brads through to look like the lights on the tree and the star at the top! Looks really cute close up! I also used a corner rounding punch on each of the backing papers and sponged around the edges with Aged Mahogany distress ink pad and a piece of sponge.

Just Inspirational Challenges - Delicious Doodles

The photo to use for the inspiration for this challenge is

I took the inspiration for my card by using the theme I felt the picture represents which is Steampunk. It was way out of my comfort zone as I am not a steampunky kinda girl! So hope you like it.

I used copics to colour the image. E000, E00, E11, V12, V15, V17, V09, Y32, Y35, Y32, T1, T3, T5, T7.
I used Marianne clock die which I inked to give it a bit of a tattered look, cheery lynn corner die, spellies classic plain circle and classic scalloped die. I added a metal corner embellishment to the image and also dotted some gold pearls around the card. The sentiment was a freebie from a website yonks ago but I can't remember where :/ will keep looking for it and link it when I find it!

Just Inspirational Challenges Daddy Cool!

So excited! This is my first DT card for my new design team position on Team B at Just Inspirational Challenges blog!!

Here is my DT card for the challenge.

The digi stamp I used is BBQ Bill and coloured him with copics. He is perfect for giving to my hubby for Fathers Day off the kids and he loves BBQ-ing and has even been known to stand under a brolly in the rain BBQ-ing!! He just loves the taste of it! lol The papers and buttons we're all from my stash and the stars were cut using the stars from the sizzix cupcake die and stamps set. Overall I kept the card quite CAS doe to the bright colours which I took inspiration from the photo above. Also, the sentiment was gained from the photo also and was printed up in word and printed off.
