Creative Creations Challenges #10

Time for another challenge at Creative Creations Challenges and this time the theme is Paper Piecing.  Our lovely sponsor this time is 

Here is my DT card.

I used Dorothy Sassy and have pieced her dress by printing her out a 2nd time on the blue gingham paper and cutting out the dress pieces so easy to do! I coloured Dorothy with copics and also used plain red backing paper. I have added some red ultra fine glitter to her shoes and her hair bows to add a bit of sparkle and make her shoes look like real ruby slippers! I've used my fave memory box corner die, and the sentiment was cut using my new tattered lace sentiment dies, the recent C&C POTD, they're fab! Added 3 mesh and pearl flowers to the lower part of the card to act as stoppers for the easel. The pearls, gems and ribbon were all from my stash.

Lacy Sunshine Challenge #9

Hi there! I'm back with another DT card for the new challenge starting at Lacy Sunshine Challenge blog today. Our theme this week is Anything Goes and from now on, all our challenges will be the Anything Goes theme! How fab is that! So easy to enter the 3 times that you are allowed! So more chances to win some fab digi's from Heather! 

Here is my card using Maddie and Clover, from Heahers new Myths digi's released this weekend. You can find all of Heathers fab digis in her shop HERE.

I kept the card quite clean and simple and have left the sentiment off until I decide who will be the lucky recipient of her! Maddie was coloured with copics. The green patterned paper was from a magazine freebie 6x6 pad, I usea plain purple card for the matting and used some ribbon and flowers from my stash, adding a silver matel corner embellishment and my usual pearls!

CCC Challenge #9

I don't very often head to these colours, I am more a pink, purple and turquoise kinda girl (as you've probably noticed by now!) so thought I would do Peach and Green for a change! I printed the sentiment out using word in green to match the colour theme and used lots of blingy gems and prima flowers that I've had for yonks! Also used the joy crafts swirl die in the corner under the 3 primas. Added my corner pearls too! Hope you like it!

Lacy Sunshine Challenge #8

Time for another new challenge at Lacy Sunshine Challenge blog and the theme this time is 'Anything But A Square'. 

There's lots of fab new digi's coming today in Heather's Lacy Sunshine shop, the only legal place to buy Heather's digi stamps.

My DT card this week features the ever lovable Pickles dressed in his graduation gown! Hope you like him.

I cut an 8x8 card diagonally to create the triangle, and used papers from my stash. Pickles was coloured with copics:- YG21, YG23, YG25, RV21, RV23, N9, N7, N5, N3, N1, Y35, Y38, R24, R27 and a little C1 on the scroll for shadowing. The fishtails were created by cutting 2 thin strips of paper and then using a square punch at the end, cutting on the diagonal. (really really want some fishtail dies but until I can get them, this method will have to do!) I also added some self adhesive gemstone stars and pearl stars and a silver metal 'Celebrate' sentiment. Pickles was cut out using spellies standard and scalloped circle dies.

Happy Birthday biggest big bruv!

My eldest brother's 45th (Sorry And!) birthday today and couldn't think is a better digi to use than Lacy Sunshine's Mooning Morris!! 

I used a stepper card and added the digi, a sentiment I typed up in word and a toadstool from the Gnomes Digi Bits set. Morris was coloured with copics. The grass was made using the Martha Stewart frond punch. I added some ribbon along the bottom of the grass and my usual pearls!

Fight Against Cancer at Lacy Sunshine x

When Heather told us DT girls she wanted to do this, I was more than happy. Having lost my lovely mum to cancer 5 years ago next month, I couldn't think of a better charity to donate to.

A Little Note From Heather:
