The Stamping Chef New Release - Round = a Shape 2

Time for another fab new release from The Stamping Chef. This weeks is called Round = A Shape 2! and just for this weekend you can grab her with 20% off from The Stamping Chef shop.

Here is my sous chef card!

Since January I have been doing the Weight Watchers diet and after losing 3 and half stone so far, I am getting the that point where it starts to slow a bit and you easily get swayed to cheat. I still have a long, long way to go so decided a notebook to track my feelings and good and bad days would help me to keep going! I thought this image was perfect for it, although on a diet, I will never be and never want to be stick thin! If I could look anywhere near as good as Tamara has drawn this image I would be a happy lady!! lol

Supplies used:- Copics E000, E00, E11, E23, E25, E27, E29, B02, B91, B93, B95, B97, R81, R83, R85, RV66. Butterfly paper from Grace Taylor Playtime stack, other papers from stash, paper blossoms, sparkling rhinestones for centres and title typed and printed from Word.

Hope you like my creation and can't wait to see what you come up with!

Just Inspirational Challenges - Sassy Studio

Time for another Team B challenge over at Just Inspirational Challenges Blog and our lovely sponsor this time is Sassy Studio Designs.

Our inspirational picture for this challenge is

last but not least, here is my DT card with this picture in mind .

I coloured Chrissy Prom using copics E000, E00, E11, RV21, RV23, E13, E15, E18, B02, V91, V93, V95.

The patterned papers and card were from my stash and I embossed the plain white card using spellbinders embossibilites folder. I added roses in the corner including one in the same colour as the challenge photo. The leaves were made using the Martha Stewart branch punch. I also kept the rose on her dress cream to match the photo.

The challenge picture screamed wedding to me but I decided to use the sentiment 'On Your Special Day' as I thought this could then be used for not only a wedding, but also a young ladys prom, or even a best friend to give to her best friend who she is being chief bridesmaid for! Not explained that very well but I know what I mean! lol

Also added some gemstone swirls and some pearls.

Hope you like her and thank you for stopping by. Why not stop by the other DT girls blogs for some more inspiration. Good luck in our challenge!

CCC #17 - Digital Delights and Bingo!

Time for a new challenge over at Creative Creations Challenges and the fab sponsor this time is Digital Delights

For this challenge we had to use the bingo card below to lead the creation by choosing three squares in a row! I chose Anything But A Card, Pearls and Kraft Card.

Here is my DT creation! I have made a door plaque for my little boys bedroom door.

I coloured the clown in using copics and fussy cut round him and the matts. I've used papers and card from my stash for the layering and the main base layer is the Kraft card. I used my eyelet punch to make the wholes to add the book rings which hold on the name at the bottom. The name was made using Dimension stamps upper case Alphabet clear stamps and coloured with copics. The stars were a seperate tiny stamp that was used before they were coloured and cut. I then covered them in glossy Accents to give the a shiny look and more rigid feel. Lastly, I added pearls to the bottom of the clown piece and the bottom of the name plaque and again used my eyelet punch to make 2 holes in the top corners to thread some red ribbon through to hang the plaque on Christopher's door!

Hope you like my creation and thanks for stopping by! Why not check out the rest of the design teams blogs for lots more inspiration! Good luck for the challenge!

TSC Facebook Recipes Page Challenge - Sweet Summer

Well this weeks challenge on the Facebook Recipes page is using this super digi Sweet Summer! She's soooo pretty! I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her! You can get her for a limited time with 20% off and the challenge will run until Monday 12pm CET.

Here is my DT card.

I coloured Sweet Summer with copics E000, E00, E11, B02, E13, E15, E18, RV21, RV23, RV25, E13, E15, N9. Rather risk ink run with the pattern on her dress, I decided to paper piece her using pale blue and pale pin pearlescent paper. I'm really chuffed with how she turned out! I used bazill pink card stock from my stash and First Edition papers from the Love Letters 12x12 stack. Didnt add too much to the card with the paper being so busy, didnt want to overdo it! Added hydrangea petals that I coloured round the edges using my copics and added sparkling rhinestones to the centres. the sentiment was a digi one from my files on the laptop, can't remember where it came from I have that many, but pretty sure it was a freebie! Used Spellies standard square and lacy squares dies to cut the sentiment and added a couple or gemstone swirls and adhesive pearls in the corners!

Hope you like her!
